SEVEN IN AUTO KILLED BY TRAIN.
Monongahela, Pa., Dec. 18. - (AP) - On their way to do Christmas shopping, seven persons, including five children, were killed yesterday when the fast Pittsburgh-Brownsville train struck their automobile at the Courtney grade crossing, Deputy Coroner Carl Yoke reported.
Yoke said those dead were:
BENJAMINE RISL, 53; HERBERT RISL, 34; and four sons of the latter, HERBERT RIST, JR., 14; BENJAMIN, 13; JOHN RIST, nine; and THOMAS RIST, seven; and HERBIE CARDEN, nine, a neighborhood friend.
HERBERT RIST, JR., died shortly after admittance to Memorial Hospital, Yoke said. The others were killed instantly, he said.
