Easton, PA Two Auto Collision, July 1965


Easton, Pa. (AP) - Six persons were killed and two children injured Sunday as an automobile went out of control, crossed a medial strip on Route 22 and slammed head-on into a station wagon, state police reported.
The accident occurred about two miles west of Easton, during a light rain.
Killed were NATHAN ARMOUR, 58, Plainfield, N.J., and his wife MARGERY, 53, in the automobile, and KENNETH ANDERSON, 23, Newark, N.J., his wife, MARY, 20, MRS. WILLI HOLMES, New Castle, Pa., and her daughter, EDITH, 11, in the station wagon. MRS. HOLMES was the mother of MRS. ANDERSON.
Injured were the ANDERSON'S two children, KENNETH, JR., 14 months, listed in serious condition at Allentown General Hospital, suffering a skull fracture and broken arm, and GERMAINE, 2 1/2 years, listed in satisfactory condition at Easton Hospital, with chest injuries.
