ALLENTOWN SCHOOL BURNED
Sparks From Fire Built to Clean Flues, the Cause, It is Said
ALLENTOWN, Pa., Aug. 9. - Fire this morning destroyed the Tenth ward school building, a comparatively new structure which cost $35,000. The insurance is $15,000.
The congregation of the Second United Brethren Church worshipped in the building and lost all its supplies.
The janitor built a fire in the heater yesterday to clean out the flues and lingering sparks are believed to have caused the flames.
