CHRISTMAS TREE FIRE CALLS OUT FIREMEN
Short Circuit Causes Blaze; Family Flees Burning Home on Lower Thames Street.
The first Christmas tree fire of the season occurred at 8:38 P. M. Sunday when a short circuit in lights started flames in the home of Harry Ravavry on Van Zandt avenue, owned by Harry Jaffe. A still alarm called Combination 1 to the scene where the fire was quickly put out, but the tree was consumed.
