Bushnell, SD Tornado Damage, Aug 1886

Bushnell, August 16. -- A tornado visited Bushnell and vicinity at eight o'clock p.m. Sunday, unroofing the depot, destroying a blacksmith shop, three farm dwellings, and about ten granaries and barns, killed one horse, and a man named MURPHY was badly injured, perhaps fatally. Considerable damage was done to grain stacks. Shingles were blown edgewise into posts.
