DIES OF INJURY
EGAN, S. D., June 28. — ( AP ) — Harold STINSON, 14, is dead as the result of being kicked in the forehead by a pony. He died Sunday [ 26 June 1932 ] from the injury, which was inflicted last Wednesday [ 22 June 1932 ] and was at first considered not serious.

Egan Boy, 14, Killed by Kick From Pony
Egan, June 28 — Harold STINSON, 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. John NICHOLS, is dead as a result of being kicked in the forehead by a pony. He died Sunday [ 26 June 1932 ] from the injury, which was inflicted last Wednesday [ 22 June 1932 ] and was first considered not serious.
Harold and an uncle were swimming near the Sioux river and were diving from the pony’ back. When they started for home the uncle led the pony across the river and the boy followed behind. As the pony neared the water’s edge he kicked with a rear leg and struck the boy in the forehead, inflicting a large, deep wound.
Harold graduated from the eighth grade in June.
