Two Streetcar Accidents

A Man Was Seriously Injured Yesterday and Friday Night a Lady Was Jerked from a Car.
Yesterday morning about 9 o’clock an Ervay street electric car collided with an ice wagon near the Santa Fe Crossing, in South Dallas. Joe RANDOLPH, the driver of the wagon, was thrown out and caught between that vehicle and the car. His right leg was bruised and crushed and he sustained internal injuries believed to be very serious. He was sent to St. Paul’s Sanitarium by Secretary E. T. MOORE of the Consolidated Street Railway Company, and at that place last night he was said to be resting easy.

Last Friday night about 200 feet south of the same place another accident occurred. Mrs. S. V. GEARY of Denison, while attempting to get off a car, was jerked from her feet by the sudden starting of the car and thrown violently to the ground. At first her injuries were not believed to be serious, but yesterday she was confined to her bed and suffering much pain.
