Merchant Burned Out at Crisp Suffers From Fire

Ennis, Tex., Jan. 6. – L. P. SIMS of Crisp, who lost his storehouse and stock of general merchandise by fire early yesterday morning, was here today and stated that his net loss above insurance would be between $8,000 and $10,000.
He succeeded in saving his books and cash register. The post office supplies were also burned, and Mr. SIMS’ right arm was badly burned.

Dr. P. H. MITCHELL’S office, a small frame building, was also burned, loss of $150.
