$80,000 BLAZE AT TYLER.

FIRE DEVASTATES PORTION OF BUSINESS SECTION OF THAT CITY EARLY THIS MORNING.

Dallas, Tex., April 7. -- A dispatch to the Times-Herald from Tyler at 2 o'clock this morning says:
A fire which originated in the scenery of the Grand Opera house here tonight destroyed the theater and the building adjoining known as the City National Bank building, entailing a loss of between $80,000 and $100,000.
The fire was discovered at 12 o'clock but it had obtained so much headway that both buildings were gutted before it was placed under control at 1:45 o'clock this morning.
The following sustained almost complete loss:
The Tyler Commercial Club.
John Durst Land and Title company, valuable records destroyed.
Condor Grocery company, complete loss.
Beard & Potter, serious loss.
City Secretary's office, records of city destroyed.
New Elks' club, total less.
