WRECK IN HOUSTON KILLS 6 TEEN-AGERS, POLICE SAY.
Houston - Six people, all believed to be teen-agers, were killed early Monday when a pickup slammed into their car at an intersection.
The six, three women and three men, were riding in a 1987 Buick Regal northbound on Corporate Drive at about 3:27 a.m. when an eastbound Nissan truck struck the driver's side of the car, said a Houston police spokesman.
"One of the officers at the scene said it's the worst accident he had ever seen," said Houston police spokesman Jay Evans. Alcohol was suspected to be a contributing factor.
