A Big Fire In Marshall, Texas.

Marshall, Texas, March 7.-At 3 A.M. this morning fire was discovered in the storehouse occupied by Henry Stichler as a wholesale and retail general merchandise establishment. The fire started in the rear of the building, and had made considerable progress before it was discovered. After the fire was apparently extinguished and a large lot of merchandise was taken out badly damaged, it broke out again and the firemen were called out a second time. The stock of merchandise was recently invoiced at $61,000, after which a large amount of stock was added to the jobbing department. The loss on stock is $75,000.

The walls of the building are still intact, and much of the woodwork was saved, but in a damaged condition.
