ONE DEAD IN $100,000 FIRE; CISCO SUFFERS

Business Houses, Opera House and Residence Burned; Three Men Injured.

CISCO, Texas, March 27.

Mayhew & Co.'s general merchandise and hardware stores, the opera house and Child's wagon yard and residence were burned at 4 o'clock this morning. The loss is estimated at about $100,000, partially covered by insurance.

A falling brick wall killed Bert Strickland and slightly injured Henry Benham, J. B. Patterson and Bill McGuire, members of the volunteer fire company.
