Two Brick Buildings with Contents Destroyed Early Friday Morning---Physicians Lose Valuable Effects.

Cisco, Tex., July 7.---Fire at 2:30 this morning, destroyed two brick buildings on the west side of Avenue D., occupied by Stamps & Co., druggists, Dr. Powell, Dr. Witt and Turner & Co., grocers. The buildings were owned by J. D. Alexander. The drug store loss was $3,000, while the loss of R. A. Gibson, owner of the soda fountain which was destroyed will reach a like sum. Dr. Powell's library and surgical instruments, valued at $3,000, were destroyed. The grocery loss is estimated at $3,500. The losses are covered by insurance to the extent of about $6,500. The fire department prevented further loss.
