Girl Bobs In Lake 2½ Hours Before Rescue.
SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 5.—(AP)—For a swimmer lost in the waters of a lake, a lapse of 2½ hours before rescue could be fatal.
But 15 year old Betty Ottero of Fruita, Colo., was rescued unharmed after a similar lapse of time last night.
Betty didn’t have to swim to stay afloat. She simply bobbed around in the superbuoyant waters of Great Salt Lake until a boat manned by Salt Lake County sheriff’s officers found her, about a mile from shore.
