PILOT KILLED IN PLANE CRASH.

Spotsylvania, Va., Sept. 10. -- (AP) -- A 27-year-old electrical engineer lost his life yesterday when his private plane sputtered out of control and crashed two miles west of Spotsylvania County Courthouse.
The victim was WILLIAM A. CASWELL of Schenectady, N.Y.
CASWELL, who had been visiting friends in Fredericksburg over the weekend, was en route back to Schenectady when the smash-up occurred.
The plane crashed in a hayfield and immediately burst into flames. It was uncertain whether CASWELL was killed in the crash or was burned to death.
It was learned CASWELL was scheduled to fly to India for General Electric, his employer in Schenectady.
CASWELL was the only occupant of his plane, which was bulit to carry as many as four.
