Christiansburg, VA Two Car Collision Kills One, Dec 1958

1 DEAD, 3 CRITICAL IN VIRGINIA CRASH.

Christiansburg, Va. (AP) - Three persons remained in critical condition at Christiansburg Hospital Sunday as the result of a two-car collision Saturday night which brought death to an Alabama man.
NEIL H. ZIMMERMAN, 43, Birmingham, Ala., was killed instantly in the crash on U.S. 11 five miles east of here.
Hospitalized were ZIMMERMAN'S wife; ANN PAGE of Salem, Va., driver of the second car, and an unidentified male passenger.
State police said the PAGE car crossed two lanes of the three-lane highway and collided with the ZIMMERMAN auto. Rescue workers labored for half an hour to extricate ZIMMERMAN'S body.
