Engineer, Fireman Killed By Blast
BLUEFIELD, W. Va., July 1.—(AP)—A Norfolk and Western railway locomotive leaped the tracks and exploded last night 20 miles from Bluefield, killing the fireman and engineer. A brakeman was injured.
Fire spurting from the blast-wrecked engine destroyed the home of Lyle Radcliffe and swept 18 derailed freight cars.
