FIREMEN INJURED.

FIRE IN A BIG TRUNK FACTORY IN MILWAUKEE.

Milwaukee, March 9. -- A fire occurred early this morning in ROMADKA Bros. trunk factory on third street between Cedar and Wells streets.
The fire had a good start before being discovered and it looked at one time as though it would spread to adjoining buildings in spite of the efforts of the firemen. While several of the firemen were working on a ladder at the third story, the floor gave way and they were precipitated to the basement below. JOHN KRESS and ADOLPH COTTON received internal injuries, and ALBERT RAFFINE was severely injured about the head. Several of the men stationed in the rear of the third floor were also severely injured by the falling of a wall. None of the injured men are considered dangerous. The origin of the fire is unknown. The loss is estimated at about $55,000, and is fully covered by insurance.
