One Man Killed and Three Others Injured Near Manitowoc.

Manitowoc, Wis., July 9.---{special.}---While shingling the roof of a new barn on the farm of Carl Knuth in the town of Cooperstown, yesterday, the scaffolding gave away, precipitating the workmen to the ground, twenty feet below. William Buth, an aged farmer, struck his head on a sharp stone and was instantly killed. His son-in-law, Gus Schley, had his back injured and will probably die. Two others received serious injuries.
