Twister Touches Down At Blaisdell Lake

Shortly after 5 a.m. on Saturday, July 17th, a tornado or twister touched down in the Blaisdell Lake area doing considerable damage at the Donald Hagen residence, where most of the damage was to the trees on his property. However, his TV antenna was blown off the roof of his home and a chimney taken off a summer cottage on his property and some minor damage to a roof of one of his buildings. Don was awakened by the storm and made it to safety in the basement of his home.

Across Blaisdell Lake, at the Glenwood Boy's Camp, there were trees blown down and other damage. There were also reports of other damage to trees, etc., in the surrounding area.
