Shawano County Traffic Chief Edward W. Bahr said three were killed instantly and the other four died shortly afterward in a hospital at Antigo.
He identified the dead as:

her son, GLENN, JR., 3 months;
and her daughter, MARY ANN, 3.
NORMAN V. KORTH, 25, of Bowler;
his sons, MICHAEL, 3 months;
and REINHOLD, 4.
HAROLD E. BECKWITH, 20, of Wittenberg.
Critically injured were GLENN WILHELM, 26, and KORTH'S wife, IRENE, 26.
