Milwaukee, WI Drowning, May 1855

MAN DROWNED.----This morning just after the arrival of the Peyfond, a man named Jacob Sinner, in passing from the streamer Eureka to a scow-boat along side, fell into the river, between the two boats, and was drowned before assistance could be rendered him. His body was recovered in ten or fifteen minutes, but all efforts to restore him to life proved ineffectual. He was a German---a resident of this city, and has left a wife and two children.---[Oshkosh Courier.
