Greenville, AL Two Car Collision, Aug 1969


Greenville, Ala. (AP) - Seven persons - all from other states - were killed Sunday in a two-car collision just south of here, state troopers said.
The officers said the two cars, both traveling at about the same rate of speed, slammed together on a slight curve five miles south of Greenville on U.S. 31. When the vehicles hit, troopers said, "they just stopped right there."
The dead were identified as JERRY LEVON LOVELESS, 31, and JAMES LOVELESS, 3 months old, both of Asheville, N.C.; JAMES SAMUEL LOVELESS, 1-year-old; and LEWIS LOVELESS, 60, both of Pensacola, Fla.; ARTHUR LETELLIER, 48, and MARY LETELLIER, 52, both of Newark, N.J., and BERTHA LETELLIER, 72, of Pawtucket, R.I.
