Spelling error for two passengers

Burth should read Burch - Mr & Mrs Cecil Burch (Ethel)

You can trust this correction because Cecil was my husband's cousin.

My family told me something different that caused this crash

My Aunt and her Hisband and his family died in this crash. I was 3 years old at the time. What I have been told is different then what I am reading on the internet. My mother said cause the crash was so bad not a body piece was indentified as her sister and her sister was very petite and supposedly when she was alive her blood was being researched. My mother doesn't know what as rare with her sister's blood. My mother is 75 will be 76 in June. How do I find more information on this flight. I also was told my Aunt and husband was flying from Alaska back to Maine but the flight says Alaska to Seattle. I understand my mother and her parents would have been in shock at this happened maybe they didn't remember what was told to them. Well this site has my email.

AA crash, '71

My family was supposed to be on that
flight. We were vacationing in Glacier
Bay, I believe. We decided to stay a day
or 2 longer. I was 10. My mother was a
travel agent in Fairbanks. Made quite an
impression on me but I don't remember
much discussion of it in later years.

My brother was named Adam

My brother was named Adam partly after the captain (his last name) -- and we were still 5 years away from moving to Juneau....
