6 AIR FORCE MEN DIE IN CAR CRASH.
Belleville, Ill. (AP) - Six Air Force men were killed early Sunday when their car missed a detour, slammed through two highway barricades and rammed a crane near here. A seventh was injured critically.
The barricades had been erected to permit reconstruction of a washed out bridge.
All were stationed at Scott Air Force Base.

Airman 3.C. MICHAEL STANCIA, 19, 811 Jennings St., Salem, Ohio.
Seriously injured was Airman 3.C. DENNIS G. E. BURKE, 21, Johnson Creek, Wis.
