IN CHICAGO.

August Alm's one-story frame cottage at No 35 Kimball avenue was damaged $1,500 by fire last night at 9:30 o'clock. The adjoining cottage, occupied by John Dazaowski, was also destroyed, entailing a loss of $1,400.

A fire broke out on the first floor of the two-story frame dwelling and tailor shop at No. 631 Canal street at midnight last night, resulting in $60 damage.

F. J. Blakemore & Co. dealers in picture frames in the four-story brick building at No. 234 Lake street suffered to the extent of $100 by fire at 10:30 o'clock last night.
