Killed by Lightning

A telegram was received here Saturday night from Dodge City, Kansas, announcing the death of W. P. Greer, the son of Mrs. Mary A. Greer, whose home is on West Fourth Street of this city.

Death came instantly from a stroke of lightning during a storm Saturday afternoon.

Wm. Greer was 33 years old and for several years on the railroad. He leaves a mother and four sisters.

The remains will be brought here for burial. The exact date of the funeral and burial has not been decided upon, but will be announced as soon as the body arrives.

Body Brought Home

The remains of William Greer, who was killed by lightning at Dodge City, Kansas, arrived in Seymour over the Pennsylvania road at 5:00 o'clock this morning.

The body was taken to the home of his mother, Mrs. Mary A. Greer, on West Fourth Street. Funeral was held from the residence at 2:00 o'clock today, conducted by Father C. J. Conrad.

Interment took place in the Catholic Cemetery.
