5 IMBODEN RESIDENTS DIE IN CRASH.

Sedan, Kan. (AP) - A car-truck collision on an icy bridge yesterday killed five residents of Imboden, Arkansas.
The truck driver was not seriously hurt.
Under-sheriff C. F. Gibbs identified the dead as:
FRANK ZITZMAN, 62;
MRS. ZITZMAN, 65;
SLOAN RUDY, 55;
MRS. RUDY, 50; and
MRS. LONA O'BANNON, 78.
The driver of a pickup truck with which the Arkansans' automobile collided, VIRGIL HECKATHORN, of Winfield, was reported in fair condition at a Coffeyville hospital.
The crash occurred on U.S. Highway 166.
Gibbs said HECKATHORN'S truck was towing a house trailer and the vehicles hit head on.
The Arkansans' were reported returning home after visiting relatives at Colorado Springs, Colo., during the Christmas holidays.
All occupants of the car except ZITZMAN died instantly. ZITZMAN died at a Sedan hospital several hours after the accident.
RUDY operated a service station at Imboden and his wife was a teacher at the Imboden Elementary School. ZITZMAN was an employee of the Frisco Railroad.
MRS. ZITZMAN is survived by a son, Capt. Bill Pitts of Colorado Springs.
RUDY is survived by two brothers, Fred and Bill Rudy o Smithville, Ark.
MRS. RUDY is survived by a sister, Mrs. Gilmore Gibson of Colorado Springs.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete.
