Duluth, MN Electricity Accident, Mar 1910

Harold Webster, Who Came in Contact With a Live Wire, Passes Away at Hospital.

As a result of injuries sustained from a fall from the third story of the R. R. Forward building, after coming in contact with a live wire, about two weeks ago, Harold Webster, 18 years old, died at 10 o'clock last evening at St. Luke's hospital. His body was taken to Durkan & Crawford's undertaking rooms to await funeral arrangements.

The accident which resulted in Webster's death occurred while he was watching ice boat races on the lake from the third story of the Forward building. He had come in contact with an electric wire and came near being electrocuted at the time and had then been reported dead. Since then he had been hovering between life and death, but it was believed that he would recover. A relapse in the last two days from which he did not recover was fatal to him.
