David City, NE Auto Accident, Apr 1930


Fatality On Highway Near David City Sunday Afternoon.

David City, Neb., April 26--(AP)--Suffering a broken neck when the car she was driving skidded into a ditch and overturned three times, Mrs. Julia Nuneman, Young Omaha widow, was killed almost instantly near here late yesterday.

With Thomas G. Robinson, 22 also of Omaha, the young woman was hurrying to the home of her parents here for a visit. Robinson received severe cuts about the head and is in a David City hospital.

Witnesses related that the car which Mrs. Nuneman was driving was traveling fast at the time of the accident. The road where the fatality occurred was wet and slippery at the time.

Mrs. Nuneman, 23, had been employed in an Omaha store. She is survived by a five year old son and her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Frank Egge. Her husband was killed in a fire two years ago.
