SEVEN PERSONS DIE IN WRECK.

Lillington, N.C. (UP) - Two cars crashed head-on at the crest of a hill near here early today killing seven persons, including five members of one family.
The crash occurred within 50 feet of a spot where four persons were killed last March on Highway 210 five miles south of here.
The dead were identified as:
WILLIS CARLIE JOHNSON, 33, his wife, MRS. RENA JOHNSON, 27; RITA JOHNSON, seven; JOHNNY JOHNSON, four; all of near Littleton; THOMAS EDWARD JOHNSON, 35, of Dunn; NORMA PHILLIPS, 50, of Dunn; and SGT. EUGENE F. HOLDER, 24, Negro of Fort Bragg, 82nd Replacement Co.
Two JOHNSON children, SHEILA, eight, and GEORGE, three, were in a Fayetteville hospital with broken limbs and other injuries.
Authorities said that the soldier's car topped the crest of the hill on the wrong side of the highway at about 12:40 a.m. and crashed head-on into the JOHNSON car, loaded with eight persons.
The JOHNSONS had been to Rockingham to visit relatives and were en-route back to Dunn.
All of the dead were killed instantly in the crash except the children JOHNNY, who died en route to the hospital and RITA, who died during the night.
