NAS NORMAN crash 1945

You might phone the public library at Norman, Oklahoma and have them do a search of their records. Also the archives at the Norman Transcript, Norman, Oklahoma and archives at The Oklahoman.com may yield some results. NAS Norman was closed in the late 60's and the two separate bases in Norman became the property of the University of Oklahoma. Perhaps an inquiry at that university may also yield records, as the base archives have to exist somewhere.

Is there anything you can tell us about this crash. We have heard a story from our dad about him as a boy and remembering this crash. We have searched for years and this is the only thing we have found.
